Dr. Weijian Tao

Postdoctoral researcher

Weijian earned his bachelor's degree in 2017 and his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2022, both from Zhejiang University, China. During his doctoral studies, he worked with Prof. Haiming Zhu, focusing on the excited-state dynamics of 2D perovskites and other photovoltaic materials. After completing his Ph.D., he moved to Strasbourg, France, to explore strong coupling phenomena under the guidance of Prof. Thomas Ebbesen. In January 2025, he joined the Huang Research Group. His research interests include the properties of low-dimensional materials and hybrid light-matter states.
